REQUIRED: Honorlock Practice Exam

This is a practice exam to help get you acclimated to the Honorlock system and make you aware of my expectations. I will be reviewing the video and commenting before your first exam.

CAUTION:

If you do not follow ALL the steps carefully for the exam, your exam will not be graded and you will receive a "0" for the exam.

• You are required to do a 360 room scan of your entire testing area. This is your testing area AND any materials you are using, including blank scratch paper and handheld calculator if you are using one.
• All other electronic devices should be turned off. This includes, but is not limited to, cell phones, tablets, television/monitor, other laptop or desktop computer.
• Your entire face and upper body must stay in view of the webcam. (Adjust your camera to where you are in full view. Do not move TO the camera or you will receive continual alerts throughout the exam.)
• You can NOT take the exam in a public area.
• No background noise, including music, television, others talking, etc.
• You are expected to complete the exam independently. You should be the only one in the room while taking the exam.

Below is an outline of the steps you will follow when you begin each exam.

Instructions:

1. Close all tabs except for Canvas. (Make sure you are using Chrome for your browser.)
2. Click on exam (Honorlock Practice Exam). IMPORTANT: You should not be asked for an Access Code. If it asks for an Access Code, you need to go to your Chrome settings and clear your browsing data/cache.
3. If you do not already have the Chrome Extension, you will be prompted through the steps to add it.
4. "Launch" the exam you are taking.
5. Read the instructions carefully and click "Launch Proctoring."
6. Take photo. (You may have to click on the three buttons to change camera view from back to front.)
7. Show a picture ID. (Any issues with this step, you need to click on the Chat bubble to chat with a live proctor.)
8. Scan the entire room, including your work area, desk, calculator and any papers you have.
9. Launch screen recording, select screen, and click "Share." This will record you while you take the exam and send me the results.

If you run into any issues during the exam, click on the bubble at the bottom of your screen and you can chat with a live proctor.
